Luke Foster
Director of Australia
As Managing Partner of Blue Stone Management Australia, I am personally responsible for the day-to-day management of the business, which means ensuring our clients’ needs are being met and our staff are happy. I take an active role in all projects and pride myself on being very much hands-on when it comes to the technical aspects of traditional quantity surveying and cost management. I enjoy seeing the evolution of the quantity surveying profession and the industry. I love the day-to-day interactions I have with my staff, clients, and project teams, and I embrace the challenges we face as we strive to add value to each project we work on. Our track record speaks for itself, and I am excited about the future of the industry and Blue Stone’s place within it.
With over 20 years’ experience in the industry servicing both public and private clients, across a range of industry sectors, I have enjoyed being involved in a huge variety of projects, including workplace fitout, residential, retail, commercial, civic, public infrastructure including schools, universities, prisons and hospitals as well as infrastructure, aviation and many more.
To me, Blue Stone means opportunity and reliability. We have built a culture based on our motto: “In everything we do, we believe in the union of innovation and control.” We have consciously moved away from the cookie-cutter approach used by many of our competitors, and we continue to push the boundaries of what is possible and what is expected from a professional in the construction industry. We have the perfect blend of youth and experience and are not afraid to forge into uncharted territory for the betterment of our projects. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and reliability, and our clients know that "we have their backs".
